164A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the racing line taken by New Bond Street (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee approximately two furlongs down, where it appeared he moves into the path of Ocean Surge, ridden by D. Browne McMonagle. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Argentarius (GB), trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right leaving the stalls.

W.J. Lee, rider of New Bond Street (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Ocean Surge, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

164B Mallow H'cap

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Indigo Dream (GB), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount didn't get a clear run. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs out involving City House, ridden by Adam Caffrey, Key Witness, ridden by A.C. Persse, and Gleneagle Bay, ridden by C.T. Keane, where it appeared A.C. Persse had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned A.C. Persse stated that he had to take a precautionary check but his mount was going backwards at the time. C.T. Keane stated that the horse in front of him moved causing him to go left. Adam Caffrey stated that his mount went slightly left but he corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

164C Follow Cork Racecourse Social Media M'dn

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.T. McCullagh, rider of Frosted Sky (GB), trained by Daniel McLoughlin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was outpaced early and kept on in the closing stages.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.A.Stack, trainer of Grande Cuvee, in relation to his charge who was a non runner due to the going when there had been no change of going since declaration time. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that his charge would have needed a little bit of rain owing to its confirmation but it failed to materialize and with this in mind he withdrew his charge. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the trainers explanation on this occasion and did not impose a fine.

164D Irish EBF Midsummer Sprint Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Oh Cecelia, trained by K.J. Condon, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the stalls involving Erosandpsyche, ridden by G.F. Carroll, and Kendall Roy (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared Erosandpsyche jumped left from the stalls bumping Kendall Roy. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Oh Cecelia, trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

164E Ryan's Cleaning H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Sarahmae, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around when she hit the front.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Devil's Angel (GB), trained by Raymond Hurley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

164F Darley Munster Oaks Stakes

The Raceday Stewards received a request from J. S. Bolger, trainer of Sparan Nua, to substitute the nominated rider N.M. Crosse, with D.P. McDonogh, as his intended mount was a non runner. Evidence was heard from the trainers Authorised Representative, Gerard Flynn. Gerard Flynn stated that D.P. McDonogh rides the majority of their horses and is familiar with the animal who can be very difficult. He added that he has ridden her on both occasions on the track when it had won. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted that there was merit in the request but felt it did no comply with Regulation 3 (owned by the same owner and trained by the same trainer) and therefore denied the request.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after rounding the first bend involving Perfect Your Craft, ridden by W.J. Lee, and Eretria, ridden by C.D. Hayes, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.J. Lee stated that Eretria came in slightly and his mount backed away. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was very difficult and he was aware of Perfect Your Craft on his inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

164G Racing Again Friday 10th July H'cap

G.M. Ryan, rider of Zheleznaya Dama (USA), trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped leaving the stalls and was eased thereafter.
